In September 2008, I was crowned MCVFRA Miss Fire Prevention 2008-2009. Since then, I have worked along side Sparky the Dog, Ronald McDonald, and other local volunteer fire departments to help spread the word of fire safety. I attend monthly meetings for Montgomery County and for the state of Maryland. I have attended station open houses, breakfasts, dinners, and other such events. I want to represent Montgomery County well. In the month of May I plan to travel across the county to public highschools to talk to seniors about Fire Prevention, Drunk Driving and Campus Safety. Then, in June, I will be down in Ocean City for the Fireman's convention where I will compete for Maryland State Miss Fire Prevention. I love representing the county in anyway that I can.
